Wall Removal
Several options are available when removing a load bearing wall including the type of beam considered (wood or steel) to replace the removed wall, using posts or transfer beams and going with a dropped beam or flush framed beam.
It is best to consult with us during the conceptual stage to provide you with all your options, better assisting you to make the most informed decision with your renovation project.
If you already know what you want, we can cut to the chase and begin developing working drawings right away, and move onto the construction process in a fast track approach!
It is important to note: Any structural modification to an existing building does require by the Authority Having Jurisdiction to obtain a building permit. This includes the removal of interior walls.
